This was actually based on one of the actors' experience with their real life dentist. I can't remember if it was Tm or Harvey who told this, but he said what happened is his dentist went to shoot him up with Novocain but accidentally jammed the needle through his cheek and into the dentist's own thumb. I think it might've been Harvey.

What ever happened to the days of good CLEAN humor? This is very funny, and we need more of these skits around today.

Reminds me of the dentist we had when I was stationed on Ford Island. We called her "The Butcher". Can't remember her name. She was Bad! The Dental Techs had best duty at the time. No one wanted an apppointment. (If they had one, they canceled). That was back in ' 85. =Stefan=
